It was actually the wiring in the dryer itself, and Vadim was able to diagnose the problem, and was able to look up a manual for my decade old dryer and get it wired correctly. Vadim showed up at my house less than an hour later and immediately got to work! He was polite, professional, and honest and diligently diagnosed the problems resulting from very old wiring and some poorly executed quick fixes over the years. It ended up being pretty bad but Vadim gave me reasonable options and together we formed a plan to get me back up and running today (I work from home) and to address the issues in stages and make my house safe for the future.
